Cutting strips to a common length in the Mitre Block

Procedure:-
1 - Set the distance from the stop to the cutting slot.
2 - Slide timber strip to the stop and saw part to length.
3 - Repeat step 2 until all parts have been sawn.
Bench hook (timber on which strips can be sawn freehand) |

Procedure:-
1: Score the strip
2: Cut through with a rocking movement.
3: Complete the cut
